As Lutherans…
Lutherans are Christians who believe that God’s remarkable love and grace shape us to be love and grace for the world. Lutherans believe that God comes to us, claims us, and loves us, and that we can rest securely in our identity as beloved children of God. We are freed in Christ to love our neighbor.
As such, Lutherans tend to be a joyful people, focused on the needs of those around us and bringing Good News to the world. At Zion, we aren’t perfect, but we trust in God’s perfect love for us. That’s what we hope you will see when you join us for worship, learning, or service – a community of faith doing our best to embody the gracious love of God for all who hunger.
